Guatemala Entry Requirements Covid

 

Updated September 2022:  Guatemala is no longer asking for a covid vaccine card to enter the country or Negative Covid test (about time).

For your flight back: USA is no longer asking for a covid test to enter the country.  If your country needs testing: Testing is available at medical facilities across Guatemala. Tecniscan, Blue Medical and Hospital Herrera are a few private facilities near Antigua and Guatemala City. There are public labs in different locations running free tests. Ask your hotel or Tour Operator for help.

        Hygiene standards

Hotels already have high standards of hygiene. Of course, they will make them even more strict and will communicate to guests for our peace of mind.

       Guatemala is highly reliable in Tourism Income

Communities depend on visitors which create jobs and boosting welfare for families, villages and entire areas such as the highlands. 

       

        Guatemala number of visitors is not as high as Costa Rica, Mexico or Dominican Republic.
